Economic growth in DUMBO is largely dependent upon a vibrant retail community, and the Dumbo Improvement District encourages small business owners to explore DUMBO as a place to open shop. Working closely with the New York City Department of Small Business Services, the Economic Development Corporation, and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the Improvement District is available to assist small business owners in growing their businesses in DUMBO.
